Born from MONOGRIIS's 2026 rebranding, "RESTA" is a Japanese-made mechanical wristwatch inspired by the aesthetics of the 1950s, reinterpreted through a modern perspective. Blending vintage charm with contemporary design, RESTA naturally fits into everyday life while adding a distinct character to the wrist.

Design

One of its most striking features is the playful lollipop-shaped hour hand, set within an otherwise classical design language. Inspired by vintage timepieces, it has been reimagined through the unique design philosophy of MONOGRIIS.

While many watch lugs feature straight and simple shapes, RESTA adopts softly curved lugs inspired by the silhouette of mountains. This distinctive form creates a unique sense of depth and dimension, producing beautiful shadows depending on the light and giving the watch a refined yet classical appearance.

Case & Crystal

The compact 36mm case offers an elegant presence and a size that comfortably suits all genders, blending naturally into daily style while adding a subtle individuality to the wrist.

The case measures approximately 13.9mm in thickness including the box-shaped sapphire crystal (10.5mm for the case body alone). By intentionally embracing both thickness and rounded curves, RESTA captures the warm and gentle character reminiscent of 1950s wristwatches and vintage pocket watches.

The watch features a domed sapphire crystal, often regarded as a hallmark of high-end timepieces. Combining elegant curves with exceptional scratch resistance, it maintains its beautiful appearance over time. A sapphire exhibition caseback further allows the wearer to appreciate the delicate movement and mechanical heartbeat within.

Movement

At its core beats the Japanese-made CITIZEN MIYOTA Cal. 8N40 automatic movement. Powered by the natural motion of the wearer's wrist, the movement offers approximately 42 hours of power reserve when fully wound — delivering the unique charm and emotional appeal that only a mechanical watch can provide.

Strap

The strap is crafted from Saffiano leather, featuring a finely textured crosshatch pattern. Known for its durability, water resistance, and lightweight comfort, the material is also resistant to scratches and stains, making it highly practical for daily wear. Its firm texture and refined sheen add a sophisticated, urban elegance to the wrist.

The strap is also equipped with a one-touch quick-release lever, allowing easy strap changes without the need for any tools — enabling effortless style changes depending on the occasion or mood.
